Dr. Abule Mehare is a Senior Researcher and the Director of Partnership and Communication at the Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA), with over 18 years of experience in project management, research, and teaching. His expertise spans macroeconomics, poverty analysis, price dynamics, international trade, and project impact evaluation and analysis. He has authored 38+ journal articles and contributed to policy briefs, focusing on market dynamics, trade policies, and their impact on welfare and human development.
He holds a BA in Economics, an MSc in Agricultural Economics, and a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics. Proficient in data analysis tools such as STATA, SPSS, and Python, he has supervised over 15 MSc and 7 PhD students and participates in media briefings and policy dialogues to inform economic policy.
