Calum Nicholson
Director of Research - The Danube Institute

Calum Nicholson is Director of Research at the Danube Institute and formerly the Director of the Climate Policy Institute. Since 2019, he has lectured at the PACE Institute at the University of Cambridge. He holds an undergraduate degree from Trinity College, Cambridge, a master’s degree from St Antony’s College, Oxford, and a PhD in Human Geography. He is co-editor of Climate, Migration: Critical Perspectives for Law, Policy, and Research, published by Hart/Bloomsbury. Nicholson writes on scientism, the social role of science, and the relationship between climate and migration, alongside wider work on geopolitics, culture, and the post-liberal world order.
