Managing Director, Communications and Publishing Department, Chatham House
David leads the Communications and Publications department at Chatham House, an independent policy institute and a trusted forum for debate and dialogue in the UK. David works closely with research and events colleagues on communications strategy and planning and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
David has worked on policy development, international negotiations, public affairs, and partnerships since 2002. Before joining Chatham House, he was the Director of External Affairs at ODI. David previously worked as a civil servant and diplomat for the British Government, including at the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office and in the energy and climate change departments.
David is also an elected local councillor in the London Borough of Southwark. He has an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from Kings College, London.
