Policy and Advocacy Lead - International League of Dermatological Societies
Homa Chuku is a policy and advocacy professional with experience in global health, strategic partnerships management, and multistakeholder engagement. She currently leads policy and advocacy efforts at the International League of Dermatological Societies, representing the organisation at global health forums such as the WHO Executive Board and World Health Assembly. Her current focus is on integrating dermatological health into international policy agendas and promoting public health initiatives on issues like skin bleaching and health equity for underrepresented and underserved populations. She has a background in dental surgery, starting her full-time career in frontline healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa, especially in oral and maxillofacial care. She holds a distinction in MSc Healthcare Management from Swansea University. She brings a multidisciplinary approach to policy design, evidence-based advocacy, and coalition building across governments, NGOs, international organisations, and multilateral institutions.
