Director of Development, Rethink Priorities
Janique serves as the Director of Development at Rethink Priorities (RP), a global remote think-and-do-tank with a presence in over 15 countries. RP’s research influences policymakers and major foundations, acting as an incubator for projects on global priorities, including AI strategy. In her role, Janique oversees the fundraising and communications teams, contributing to the overall organisational strategy.
Her professional journey includes a stint from 2005 to 2007 at the Center for Arab-West Understanding in Cairo, Egypt. Janique has a diverse background in community-building across various fields and holds degrees in Philosophy, Theology, Arabic and Islamic Studies, along with an MBA from Business School Lausanne. She speaks German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic. Janique finds joy in residing in an intentional community in Zurich, Switzerland.
