As a Chevening Scholar with an LL.M. from the University of Glasgow, Khairul Arifin is Senior Manager (Research) at IDE Research Centre Sdn. Bhd. where he pioneered a research unit. A seasoned researcher, he has supervised over 150 public opinion surveys, Social Impact Assessments, and big data analytics projects, significantly shaping policy-making and social development. Holding dual law degrees (LL.B and LL.B (Shariah)) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, he is also a Registered Evaluator with PLANMalaysia for SIA and a member of the Malaysian Association of Social Impact Assessment. Through involvement in NGOs like WADAH, Futures Malaysia, and the Academy for Democracy (APDK), he drives community empowerment, leadership training, and policy advocacy that champions inclusivity and forward-thinking governance.
