Lene Topp works at the European Commission (DG Joint Research Centre), where her work focuses on strengthening evidence-informed policy-making in the European Commission and beyond through training and other capacity-building actions for researchers. She is Project Lead on the ‘Science4Policy’ Competence Framework, which is a mapping of the essential competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) that are required for researchers to increase the policy impact of their research results. Lene Topp has contributed to the development of classroom, online and e-learning training courses as well as Training-of-Trainers programmes focusing on building capacities for researchers working at the interface between science and policy.
