Melany Pașca is Director of Public Policy and Legal Affairs at Edge Institute and a PhD candidate in European Law at École doctorale de droit de la Sorbonne. She holds a degree in English and French Law from the University of Birmingham and Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) and a Master’s degree in Law and Governance of European and International Affairs from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. At Edge Institute, she leads programmes on digital transformation and governance and develops policy initiatives that connect policy innovation, technology, civic participation, and foster institutional trust. She has also served as a Legal Adviser and Chief of Staff in the Romanian Parliament, where she has drafted and coordinated legislative initiatives on identity documents and women’s rights.
