Multi-stakeholder engagement expert and course coordinator, ICRA
My name is Myriam Perez; I work at ICRA as a Multistakeholder engagement expert and course coordinator of the “Making Research Work” training track. I am a fast learner, dynamic, creative, and determined. I speak English, Spanish and French fluently. I have over a decade of experience in project management and scientific communication in the global South. I’ve worked in Malawi, Colombia, and Yemen. Currently, I’m representing ICRA in the SASI-SPI project, where I lead capacity-building initiatives and empower changemakers in agriculture. To do so, I coordinate and design Science-Policy Labs to bridge the gap between research and policy, fuelling the dialogue to create solutions for sustainable food systems. I’m passionate about integrating artistic methods into my activities as a means to foster creativity, collaboration and trust. Through my work, I aim to create trusted relations between research, policy, and communities, which will drive meaningful change in global food systems.
