Nomita serves as the Director of Multi-Sector Partnerships for the University of Houston’s Population Health (UHPH) initiative. Dedicated to enhancing lives through education, research, and service, her passion drives her role in fostering collaborative partnerships. Prior to her current position, she held leadership roles in local and state-level organisations, emphasising health promotion, health policy, and the wellness of school-aged children.

Beyond her commitment to public health, she is an avid science fiction enthusiast. Her multifaceted experiences contribute to her holistic approach towards building partnerships and promoting well-being through the UHPH initiative.
