Sydney Mwamba, the Executive Director of the Policy Monitoring and Research Centre (PMRC), has 16 years of experience in the public sector, including 16 years in the Ministry of Agriculture. He holds a PhD in Agronomy from the University of Zambia, a Master of Science in Research Methods from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Zambia, and a Diploma in Agriculture from Natural Resources Development College. Mwamba is pursuing a Master of Arts in Economic Policy at Copperbelt University. He has extensive experience in public policy analysis, research design, data analysis, statistical modelling, scientific writing, impact evaluation, extractive industries, climate change, agroecological analysis, and agricultural intensification. He has participated in surveys and is proficient in R statistical software.
