Tauqueer Ali Sabri

Tauqueer Ali Sabri is a New Delhi-based development professional, researcher, and writer with 20 years of experience in social justice, civil society, and international development. His work focuses on democratic values, ecological transformation, and the rights of marginalised communities in South Asia. He has held key roles at the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, the National Foundation for India, and currently works with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung. Tauqueer’s expertise includes grant management, institutional capacity building, and grassroots partnerships, particularly with Dalit, Adivasi, and women-led organisations in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. He is the co-founder of the Ambedkar Summer School, a learning space for young scholars from marginalised backgrounds to explore anti-caste thought and social justice. Committed to equality and inclusion, Tauqueer regularly writes on democracy, human rights, and global inequalities, and contributes to building cross-regional intellectual dialogue through collaboration with civil society actors across South Asia and Europe.
